High quality bench is constructed of solid hard maple and supported with heavy duty hardware. The bench measures 13.5 x 29.5 and has a height of 20.5 inches. Available in walnut, mahogany and ebony finishes as well as unfinished. All have music compartments, and are upholstered in heavily grained naugahyde. Weight = 24 lbs.

Grand Piano Solid Wood Benches
Duet Size
Duet size grand piano bench comes in two grades: the standard select hardwood top and the walnut or mahogany veneer top. Veneer looks exactly like the solid wood, but will never warp or crack over the years. Veneer is preferable.
All benches measure 14.75 x 36.5 and are 18 inches high.
All have finished music compartment.
Spade foot and brass ferrules are the two leg types.

The following heavy duty school benches are actually manufactured by Jansen, the piano bench manufacturer for Steinway, Baldwin, and other high-end instruments.

Similar to a grand type piano bench, but built much stronger. Reinforcement cross-bar added. Top is 14.5 X 33 inches, height is 19 (this bench is half an inch longer than a grand piano duet bench). Functional and Strong, with a large storage compartment.
